I started dancing at two years old, not just because of my obvious love for music early on but also because the doctor recommended ballet could straighten out one of my legs.
Not only did dance fix me, it became my absolute passion. I was quite shy at first, but it wasn’t long before I was competing up and down the country and soon came completely out of my shell. I have a lot to thank dance for.
At 16, I was lucky enough to gain a full scholarship at London Studio Centre for 3 years, graduating with a DipHE in theatre dance. Since then I have been performing in musicals such as Starlight Express, We Will Rock You, Jersey Boys, Rock of Ages, Big.
My love for dance hasn’t wavered, but I am now ready to use my passion in a different way, so am thrilled to start my BalletBums journey. I am excited to combine my love for dance with fitness, fun and hopefully help some people along the way.
