BalletBums Location Somerset Daisy Gray

I’ve always had a love for dance and theatre. I started dancing when I was 5 and realised in my early teens, I wanted to pursue it as a career. I was lucky enough to train at 2 fantastic dance and musical theatre schools in London. I completed a foundation degree in dance at London Studio Centre and then went on to study dance and musical theatre at Bird College. Since then I have moved back to Somerset and have become assistant head at one of my local dance schools. As well as this I’ve recently welcomed my first child in April this year. A few months after having my daughter, I wanted to find something new and different, something that could work around me being a new mum. BalletBums is perfect for me because it’s a combination of dance and fitness, which 2 things I love, but it can also work around my mum life. I’m so excited to be a Balletbum instructor. I can’t wait to see where this new journey will take me. Your all going to love it!

“BalletBums couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. I love how versatile the classes are and the fact that anyone, any shape and any size can participate and realise how great ballet is for the body and the mind.”

“Once you are at the barre that it is all you concentrate on, so all of the every day baggage has to be left at the door. Corrections are given without humiliation! I always feel energised after class and just wish I could start every day with 60mins in Emily’s studio!””
