Starting at aged 3, dance has always been such a huge part of my life and I quickly knew it was something I wanted to pursue professionally one day. My childhood was spent travelling up and down the country to compete in various competitions and at the age of 18, at the end my time competing, I won the title of 2015 All England Young Modern Dancer of the Year, and came runner up in the Young Ballet Dancer of the Year.

I then moved to London to begin my professional dance training at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance where I worked with a number of world renowned choreographers and regularly performed solos from classical ballet repertoire such as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and Romeo and Juliet.

After graduating with a First Class Honours degree, I then went on to join the Richard Alston Dance Company for their 2018-2019 season where I was lucky enough to perform in the most incredible theatres from Sadlers Wells in London, to the Virginia Arts Festival in the USA. I then went on to freelance as a dance artist whilst also studying for my Masters degree in professional dance. I then joined BalletFolk, a newly formed company between ballet dancers and folk musicians which premiered at the Cambridge Folk Music Festival in 2019 and following this, also had the opportunity to perform in New York with the company.

Whilst performing is a huge passion of mine, during my time freelancing, and being away from the daily routine of being in a dance company, I found a new passion for fitness. I started going to the gym regularly (something I had never had the time for previously) and quickly found that it was something I got a similar adrenaline rush from! I also began teaching regular adult ballet classes at the Rambert School, which I quickly grew to love, and found the noticeable improvements of the regulars so rewarding! This led me onto joining Ballet Bums, as this was a perfect combination of ballet, fitness and teaching! So I cant wait to sweat it out with you guys in class and most importantly, have fun!
